Referring to Your Lordship's Despatch No. 58 of the 21st March, 1906, and subsequent correspondence, I have the honour to request that steps may be taken to ascertain whether the Societies who have undertaken to recognise Dr. Hunter's Certificate of Laboratory Instruction will recognise a similar Certificate from Dr. C. M. Heanley, Assistant Bacteriologist, who will act as Bacteriologist during Dr. Hunter's forthcoming absence on leave.
2. Dr. Heanley's qualifications are M.B., B.S., (London University), M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., (London), D.P.H. (England).
